“I ate at Sunny Side for the first time recently and it was great!! The highlight of my meal though... the grits!!! I'm already looking forward to visiting again soon. I was with a group of 10 and our food came out fast! Our waitress was on top of everything. Great experience.”
— Kristin Kristin“Always a great meal at Sunnyside Cafe! Yes you can go to a big chain, but this place has great food, charm and fantastic service. When I go here (several times now), I always get the Sunnyside breakfast. Eggs scrambled, bacon, the cheese grits, which are to die for, and then English muffin. They have a great selection of homemade preserves which you can’t go wrong with any flavor. When I’m really hungry, a side of French toast or pancakes, always helps to fill me up. The food is served, hot, and more impressively quickly. The menu is extensive with both breakfast and lunch options. So you have a selection to choose from. Depending on when you go, there can be a wait because the restaurant is popular. But they do a great job of getting the people through quickly and getting you seated. Service has been excellent. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and quick to get you your beverages and take your order. Food comes out pretty quickly.”
— Ed Vigezzi“Love everything about this place! They have so many amazing options for lunch and breakfast on the menu that you'll have to go more than once....and the incredible service you'll receive will make you happy to do so! Seriously the most kind and friendly wait staff I've experienced in a long, long time. The food is delicious and the coffee is so good! Literally my favorite coffee, other than my own. They give you a larger mug than a regular diner, which is just a nice touch. I also love that it's a bright and open space; it suits it's name 🌞”
— Gloria Campbell“I had a three choice omelet this morning however when I opened my order the red onions on my omelet were not cooked and seemed to just be put in the omelet as an afterthought. My homefries were also not cooked throughly so it still tasted as if they came out of the freezer. For the amount of money I pay you’d expect the cooks to care about what they serve to their customers so we’ll come back to spend money at their establishment.”
